Diptyque is a Parisian company that produces divinely scented candles, perfumes, and body products.
Diptyque was founded in 1961 by three friends who had been trained at The Ecole de Beaux Arts in Paris. In 1963 Diptyque started producing a series of scented candles.
All the Diptyque fragrances are natural whether they are fruity, floral, woodsy, spicy or green. Dyptyque proudly offers hand poured, paraffin wax candles that burn for 50-60 hours. They have never used synthetic fragrance, so paying $55 a candle is worth every lingering scent.
Diptyque's most popular scents:
1) Tuberose - is their best seller. A sensuous, heady scent from the Mexican tuberose flower.
2) Bais - a blend of fruity and floral scents which combine black currant leaves and Bulgarian rose essences.
3) Feu de Bois - Firewood. The comforting sent of a crackling fire is my recommendation to create the perfect sexy atmosphere.
4) Figuier - Fig scent comes from the crushed leaves of the fig tree. It is slightly fruity, but mostly green. This is my favorite scent followed by Tuberose, Rosa (rose) and Feuille de Lavande (lavender).
